Melemele and the Eggs

So I haven't updated for a while but I think this next post will be worth the wait!

At first there were just a few, then the next day there were a few more! They just keep adding more!

We have seen what we suspect are the mom and dad of the duck eggs. They do not appreciate us getting too close, like when we're trying to get groceries out of the car and into the house.

There are now a total of 9 eggs! For those interested in what kind of ducks we have, they are called Muscovy ducks. There are tons of them that live in the ponds around our subdivision. I've found in my google searches that they are actually part of the goose family and they can lay 8-21 eggs that incubate for 35 days!

Good thing Minnie isn't around. She'd give those ducks what-for. Or so she'd like to think.

Today we went to a park and Minnie met a dog like Mel! They became fast friends and Minnie wished that we would let her off the leash to play more.
